  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the crackers evenly.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until it boils. Continue boiling for 3 minutes.
  3. Pour the caramel mixture over the crackers, spreading evenly.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes until bubbly and golden around edges.
  5. Remove from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips over hot caramel, and let sit for 5 minutes. Spread the melted chocolate evenly.
