Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Sesame seeds and chopped scallions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare three shallow dishes: one with flour mixed with salt, pepper, and paprika; one with beaten eggs; and one with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the flour, then the egg, then coat with panko, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Arrange chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine hot sauce, honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Brush the hot honey glaze over the baked chicken and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions before serving.
