- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- Sesame seeds and chopped scallions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare three shallow dishes: one with flour mixed with salt, pepper, and paprika; one with beaten eggs; and one with panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken breast into the flour, then the egg, then coat with panko, pressing gently to adhere.
- Arrange chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine hot sauce, honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Brush the hot honey glaze over the baked chicken and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less hot sauce.
- Serve with rice or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
