- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar (for glaze)
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (for glaze)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients: chopped vegetables, meat, seasonings, and glaze ingredients.
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, chopped vegetables, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, eggs, garlic, onion, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf in a greased pan or on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45-55 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
- While baking, simmer balsamic vinegar and honey in a small saucepan until it thickens, about 10-15 minutes.
- Remove the meatloaf from the oven, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
