Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
- Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture, knead until smooth and elastic, about 5-7 minutes.
- Divide dough into small pieces, roll into balls, and shape into pretzel bites.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add baking soda.
- Drop pretzel bites into boiling water in batches and cook for 30 seconds. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain.
- Place pretzel bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
