Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder (optional for spice)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh lettuce or spinach leaves
- Sour cream or ranch dressing (optional)
- Chopped fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breasts into thin strips. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, paprika, chili powder, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Marinate the chicken strips in this mixture for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken strips and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
- Warm the tortillas slightly to make them more pliable. Spread shredded cheese over each tortilla, then add chicken strips, fresh lettuce or spinach, and optional sour cream or dressing.
- Roll up each tortilla tightly to form a wrap. For crispy and cheesy exterior, grill the wraps on a skillet or Panini press until the outside is golden and cheese melts.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sliced peppers or avocado inside the wrap.
- To keep wraps warm, wrap them in foil before serving.
- Use fresh, high-quality cheese for the best melt and taste.
