Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Cool on wire rack before serving.
Notes
- For chewier cookies, slightly underbake and let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes.
