Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Ice cubes
- Orange slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish
Instructions
- Start by squeezing fresh oranges to obtain about a cup of vibrant orange juice. Freshly squeezed juice is recommended for the best flavor.
- In a small saucepan, combine the orange juice, ground cinnamon, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract. Gently heat over medium-low heat until warmed, avoiding boiling.
- Pour the warm mixture into a pitcher and let it cool to room temperature. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for a refreshing cold drink.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the cooled mocktail over the ice, and garnish with orange slices and a cinnamon stick for presentation. Stir gently before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by varying the honey or maple syrup according to your taste.
- Use freshly squeezed orange juice for a more vibrant citrus flavor.
- Add a pinch of nutmeg or ginger for extra spice variation.
