  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  5. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
  6. Divide dough into two parts. Roll each into a rectangle. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Roll up each rectangle, then cut into 1-inch slices.
  8. Place slices on prepared baking sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow cookies to cool slightly, then drizzle with glaze before serving.
