- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing evenly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
- For extra richness, add a few mini marshmallows on top before baking.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
