Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine sour cream, eggs, and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Fold in blueberries gently.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and lemon juice until smooth.
  6. Pour half the batter into the pan, spread cream cheese mixture over it, then top with remaining batter.
  7. Swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool before slicing and serving.
