Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup plant-based milk or dairy milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup buffalo hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to make a batter.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring an even coat, then place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- In a large bowl, toss the cooked cauliflower with buffalo sauce and olive oil or spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Return to the air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes to allow flavors to meld and crispiness to develop. Serve warm with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Notes
- Adjust buffalo sauce to taste for spiciness.
- Serve with celery sticks for a classic touch.
- You can bake in a conventional oven at 400°F for 20-25 minutes if an air fryer isn’t available.
