Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in dried cherries and chocolate chunks.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are crispy but centers are soft.
