Instructions
- Combine cherries with cherry preserves or liqueur and set aside to meld flavors.
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form; refrigerate until ready to assemble.
- Melt the chopped chocolate using a double boiler or microwave; let cool slightly.
- Layer cherry mixture, crushed cookies, melted chocolate, and whipped cream in small cups, repeating layers as desired. Garnish with chocolate shavings and a cherry on top.
