- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in green beans until well coated.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish and top with crispy fried onions.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute fried onions with crushed potato chips for added crunch.
- You can prepare this dish a day ahead and bake just before serving.
