  • 1 lb chicken breasts or thighs, cut into chunks
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Warm butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until soft.
  2. Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking for 1 minute.
  3. Add spices: garam masala, turmeric, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add chicken chunks, cooking until chicken is cooked through and tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and cook for 2 minutes. Garnish with cilantro before serving.
