- 1 1/2 pounds flank steak, sliced into strips
- 2 bell peppers, sliced (red and green)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
Instructions
- Place sliced beef, bell peppers, onions, and garlic into the slow cooker.
- Mix soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper; pour over ingredients.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours until beef is tender.
- Mix cornstarch with a little water and stir into the slow cooker.
- Cook for another 15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- You can substitute with chicken or tofu for variety.
- Adjust sweetness by increasing or decreasing brown sugar.
- Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
