Scale
- 1 pound large carrots, sliced into rounds
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add carrots and cook until tender, about 7-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add honey, salt, and pepper, stirring to combine.
- Add cooked carrots to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with the glaze. Cook for 2-3 minutes until glossy and heated through.
- Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey based on preference.
- You can roast the carrots instead of boiling for deeper flavor.
