- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced into strips
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger to create the stir fry sauce.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken strips and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, tossing to coat evenly. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh ginger for a more vibrant flavor.
- You can substitute chicken with tofu or shrimp for variety.
- Serve over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
