Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Additional melted butter for brushing
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and knead until a soft dough forms.
- Cover the dough and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape into rolls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Mix minced garlic and parsley with melted butter. Brush the rolls with half of the garlic butter mixture.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven, brush with remaining garlic butter, and serve warm.
Notes
- Ensure milk is warm but not hot to activate the yeast properly.
- You can add cheese or herbs for variation.
