- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup gluten-free soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch or arrowroot powder
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil to make the marinade.
- Add chicken pieces to the marinade, toss well, and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Sprinkle chicken with cornstarch, tossing to coat evenly.
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket, avoiding overlap, and cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Once cooked, toss chicken with remaining sauce or glaze and serve garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
