- 10 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika

- Oil for frying or baking sheet
- Optional: salsa, guacamole, sour cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare oil for frying.
- Mix shredded chicken or beef with chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Warm tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
- Place a spoonful of filling on each tortilla, roll tightly, and secure with toothpicks if necessary.
- For baking: Place taquitos on a baking sheet, lightly sprayed with oil, and bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
- For frying: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, fry taquitos until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side, then drain on paper towels.

- You can prepare taquitos in advance and freeze before baking or frying.
