- 1/2 pound of ground pork
- 1 cup of plain breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of ketchup
- 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley or thyme for added flavor
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, chopped onion, garlic, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well incorporated, being careful not to overmix.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
- Spread ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf for an added flavorful glaze.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
