- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage)
- 1 lemon, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the turkey dry and rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Stuff the cavity with lemon slices and herbs.
- Place on a roasting pan and tent with foil.
- Roast for 13-15 minutes per pound, basting occasionally.
- Remove foil last 30 minutes for crispy skin, let rest before carving.

- Ensure the turkey is fully thawed before roasting.
- Use a meat thermometer to check for a temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Rest turkey for at least 20 minutes before carving for juiciness.
