- 4 bone-in chicken thighs
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then sear skin-side down until golden, about 5-7 minutes.
- Flip and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Add remaining butter and garlic to the skillet, sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in lemon juice and zest, stirring to deglaze the pan.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over, and cook until chicken reaches 165°F.
- In a separate pan, steam green beans until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Serve chicken alongside green beans, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.

- Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
- Adjust lemon amount to taste for more zestiness.
- Can be cooked in the oven at 400°F for 25-30 minutes as an alternative method.
