Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, beating well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture.
- Stir in oats, chocolate chips, and nuts.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden around edges.
- Allow to cool on wire racks before serving.
Notes
- For chewier cookies, refrigerate dough for 30 minutes before baking.
- You can substitute chocolate chips with chunks or dried fruits.
