Instructions

- Pour the caramel mixture over the yams, ensuring even coverage.
- Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, basting occasionally, until yams are tender and caramel is bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped pecans before serving, if desired.

- For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or ginger to the caramel sauce.
