- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 2 cups cooked pulled beef
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- 1 egg, beaten
- Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut puff pastry into squares or rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of pulled beef (and cheese if desired) in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
- Can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
- Use leftover pulled beef for extra flavor.
