Instructions
- Combine ground meat, bread crumbs, chopped onion, milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly until well incorporated. Add cheese or herbs if desired.
- Transfer the mixture to a lined baking sheet or loaf pan and shape into a loaf form for even cooking.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake meatloaf for 40-50 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Brush additional ketchup or barbecue sauce on top during the last 10 minutes for extra flavor.
- Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes after baking. Slice and serve with your favorite sides.
