- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to make the marinade.
- Marinate chicken pieces in the sauce for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until browned and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.
- Serve the chicken over warm cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of chili sauce.
