- 2 cups dark chocolate chips or melting chocolate
- White chocolate or vanilla candy melts

- Small plastic doll heads or edible doll face decorations
- Wooden sticks or skewers
- Sprinkles or edible glitter for decoration
- Cleaned paintbrush for detailed decoration
Instructions
- Wash the apples thoroughly and dry completely. Remove the stems if desired for a cleaner look.
- Insert a wooden stick or skewer into each apple’s core, pushing it about halfway through.
- Dip each apple into the caramel sauce, tilting to cover evenly. Place on parchment paper to set.
- Melt the dark chocolate in 30-second intervals in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth or melt in a double boiler.
- Dip the caramel-coated apples into the melted chocolate, swirling to cover. Place back on parchment to harden.
- Melt white chocolate or vanilla candy melts for doll face decorations. Add food coloring if desired.
- Use a small paintbrush to paint facial features onto edible doll face decorations or use edible markers. Let dry completely.
- Attach the edible doll faces or plastic doll heads to the top of the chocolate apples using a small amount of melted chocolate or edible glue.
- Decorate with edible eyes, sprinkles, or edible glitter for a creepy effect. Chill until set and ready to serve.
