Instructions
- Pop the popcorn kernels in a large popcorn maker or pot according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Transfer to a large bowl.
 - In a saucepan, melt the butter or coconut oil over medium heat. Stir in corn syrup and vanilla extract. Add the red velvet cake mix and a few drops of red or pink food coloring. Mix until smooth and glossy.
 - Pour the red velvet mixture over the popped popcorn gradually, tossing gently to coat evenly. Use a spatula or tongs as needed. Spread coated popcorn on parchment paper to cool and set.
 - Decorate with red sprinkles or drizzle with melted white chocolate for extra spooky effect. Let set before serving.
