Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box of your favorite brownie mix or homemade brownie batter
- White chocolate chips or almond bark (for the eyeballs)
- Red gel food coloring (for veins)
- Blue or green food coloring (for iris)
- Chocolate candies or edible eyes (optional, for extra effect)
- Vegetable oil, eggs, and water (as specified in your brownie recipe)
Instructions
- Prepare the brownie batter according to package instructions or your preferred recipe. Pour into a greased baking pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely.
- While cooling, melt the white chocolate chips or almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler. Tint with blue or green food coloring to resemble irises.
- Using a small cookie scoop or teaspoon, dollop the melted white chocolate onto parchment-lined tray. Press edible candies or eyes into the center of each dollop. Use a toothpick dipped in red gel food coloring to draw veins around the white chocolate for a realistic eyeball effect.
- Once the white chocolate eyes are set, gently place them onto the cooled brownies. Press lightly to secure. Add red gel veins or small candies for extra bloodshot effect if desired.
Notes
- Use silicone molds for uniform eyeball shapes.
- Color white chocolate in small batches for accurate iris shades.
- For added realism, paint red veins with a fine-tipped food-safe brush.
