Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups (340g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup (250ml) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Red food coloring (gel or liquid)
- White chocolate or candy eyes for zombie effects (optional)
- Black edible marker or chocolate for detailing (optional)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch square baking dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking and for easy removal.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the vanilla extract. Add drops of red food coloring until you achieve a blood-red hue, mixing thoroughly to incorporate color evenly.
- Pour the mixture into your prepared pan and spread evenly using a spatula. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until the fudge is firm.
- Once set, cut the fudge into bite-sized pieces. Decorate with white chocolate or candy eyes, and use melted white chocolate and edible markers to create blood drips and spooky details. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra festivity, add seasonal ingredients such as edible glitter or themed decorations.
- Keep the fudge stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
- You can use white chocolate instead of semi-sweet for a ghostly appearance, adjusting the color with red food coloring.
