- 1 lb (450g) boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Fresh green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Coat chicken strips evenly with cornstarch.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
- Add the sauce mixture to the skillet with chicken, cook for another 2-3 minutes until coated and glossy.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less chili sauce.
- You can bake the chicken at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes as a healthy alternative.
