- 1.5 lbs boneless chicken thighs, cut into chunks
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken, tomato sauce, garlic, spices, salt, and pepper into the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until chicken is tender.
- Stir in butter and heavy cream during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot with rice or naan garnished with fresh cilantro.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, simmer uncovered for 10 minutes after cooking.
- You can substitute chicken breasts if preferred.
